After selecting Criterion as the supplier, Boeing recently took delivery of a high accuracy automated machining center engineered to produce and inspect flight rated components for the AH-64 Apache Helicopter. Criterion’s ability to integrate mechanical automation, CMM style inspections, and machining functions into one machining center while maintaining accuracies of ±.0002”.  This allows Criterion to increase quality and throughput and at the same time reduce labor.

Also checking flash and od. Replaced 2-3 hand sorters.

Fully automated machine was designed to process multiple versions of DVT (deep vein thrombosis) Systems.  The machine utilizes a manually loaded infeed conveyor, multiple robots, 3d vision systems, a seven station turn table with integrated leak testers, as well as custom designed folding, bagging and boxing tooling to process the DVT Systems.  The machine is capable of processing a DVT system every six seconds.
